What is the 2006 US Unemployment rate?

The Bureau of Labor Statistics has data up to April 2006 and unemployment rate stands at 4.7%

for the major worker groups--adult men (4.2 percent), adult women (4.3 percent), teenagers (14.6 percent), whites (4.1 percent), blacks (9.4 percent), and Hispanics (5.4 percent)--showed little or no change over the month. The



unemployment rate for Asians was 3.6 percent, not seasonally adjusted.
